The service most often provided by Dr. Robbins and his expert team is an extraction or removal of a tooth. Whether they are removing one tooth or several their skill and attention to your comfort will insure a smooth and pain-free experience.
If your general dentist has recommended a partial or full denture Dr. Robbins will work closely with your dentist to insure the successful completion of your treatment. Preparing the mouth for a new partial or full denture may require some special procedures to insure the maximum comfort level. A denture sits on the bone ridge, so it is very important that the bone is the proper shape and size. For the best fit the bone may need to be smoothed out, reshaped or excess bone removed prior to inserting the denture.
Dr. Robbins performs numerous biopsies in and around the mouth when there is a suspicious lesion or abnormal change in appearance of the tissue in the mouth. The patient is generally referred by their general dentist who has discovered the problem during an oral cancer screening at their routine exam visit.
We recognize that every patient is unique and Dr. Robbins will listen to your concerns and suggest an anesthesia that will best fit your treatment needs. Our options include: Local anesthetic, nitrous oxide, twilight sleep and general anesthesia.
Post Operative Care
After care is very important so every patient will receive written and verbal post operative instructions. Dr. Robbins personally calls every patient the night after surgery to see how they are doing and to answer any questions. Depending on the type of surgery you may be asked to return for a post operative visit. We encourage our patients to call if they have any questions or concerns and so we never miss a call we have a live answering service and a doctor is always available after business hours.
